Suzuki swift boosterjet regen light

Just got a Boosterjet and noticed this funky little white battery symbol with arrows popping up when I slow down. I'm guessing it's the regen doing its thing and juicing up the hybrid battery? Is this totally normal? And does it only show up when braking? Any insights appreciated!
