Is it possible to have a custom display?

Hi, I drive a 2022 Swift and find the display frustrating. It cycles through unnecessary info like acceleration and G-forces, but I just want speed, DTE, and fuel economy on one screen. Instant fuel usage is only shown as a graph, not a number. Is there any way to customize the display?

The 2022 Swift’s display isn’t the most customizable.
Unfortunately, it cycles through preset screens, and you can’t combine speed, DTE, and fuel economy on one screen.
Your best bet is to manually cycle through the info using the INFO/DISP button on the steering wheel or dashboard stalk.
I am sorry I can't help you more.

Unfortunately, most manufacturers lock down those displays pretty tight, so customization options are usually limited. With the 2022 Swift, it's unlikely you can fully configure it to show exactly what you want on one screen. However, some cars have different "display modes" you can cycle through. As for the instant fuel usage graph, yeah, those are often more for show than practical use. Find a way to access numerical data through a hidden menu or a third-party app (if one even exists for the Swift), but it's not usually straightforward. It's a common complaint, though!

Yeah, having to dig through the screen just to see basic info is pretty annoying. Sadly, Suzuki didn’t give the Swift much flexibility there. You could check if a firmware update magically adds some options, but let’s be real, it’s probably a long shot.

It sounds like your car's display is showing off more than it's helping. Most cars don't let you change what the display shows much. You can look in the settings but it probably won't help. And that fuel usage graph is just bad design. You could see if your car has any software updates but it's unlikely they'll fix it. This kind of display problem is common in new cars.
