Hey all,
I just noticed that the end of the plastic trim in the driver and passenger footwell flaps around. Every time I get in or out, I hit it with my foot.
Does anyone know if there’s supposed to be a clip or something holding it down, or if it is just one of those quirky design things? Not sure if I am missing something or if this is just how they come. Appreciate any thoughts you have on this one.

There should be clips or fasteners to secure the trim. You can check if any have come loose or need replacing. If it’s a design flaw, the dealership can help.

Yeah, I agree with @JackFrost, it’s likely there’s supposed to be a clip holding it down. Check for any broken or missing clips in the trim. If not, it might just be a design quirk.

Update: Took my Swift to the dealer, and they found some popped clips causing the trim to flap. The fitment was meant to hold the center console. They fixed it, and I didn't have to pay anything.

Glad to hear they sorted it out for you, and even better that it didn’t cost anything! Sounds like a smooth fix. Thanks for the update
