I'm planning to replace the A/C TX valve on my 2008 Swift RS415 and could use some advice. I've come across the Denso TXX2370 valve, which seems to be compatible with the Swift EZ RS415 1.5L models. Any tried this?

I'm wondering if it's safe to replace the TX valve and the O-rings directly from the engine bay, or does this job require accessing the evaporator core inside the cabin? Any tips?

Lastly, sourcing the correct O-rings has been a challenge. I found a parts catalog that lists various engine components, including O-rings, for the Swift RS415. I'm still uncertain about the sizes and part numbers needed for the A/C system. Does anyone have information or knows where to find these? I'm trying to tinker with my car.

Are you sure the TX valve is faulty? Make sure of that before anything. Usually, they fail due to contaminants or a compressor failure. If you are replacing it, clean and nitrogen flush the system first. O-rings are standard and usually come with the valve, but any A/C shop can provide them. Don’t forget to replace the dryer, too. Good luck.
